I would love to have one next weekend.. the wife goes away and I will be available to play alot earlier... keep it in mind... I love GR...

It'd be hard to keep be bare away, yet I have not the game:@

Tonight I have an American Football game and tomorrow i'll be out of town all day. Reality check! :eek:

Preferred Mods are Dark Angel 4.9 (aka DA4.9) and SAS 22nd Equipment Mod.

Currently I have developed an odd sound problem in my game... I was having the same problem in RVS and I disabled the EAX sound effects and the problem went away... fixing it in GR has proved more elusive...

I am getting a rather annoying Digital Pulse from ear to ear... and then I loose my sound effects... I reboot and it goes away... then eventually it starts again....

Not really sure what is going on.... and btw the sound card does not do this in any other games... only the UBI ones... and only recently...

Sound Card is Sound Blaster Live 5.1 PCI.

I will keep trying.....

Doh! I can get the mods but I am afraid I will not have Island Thunder in time. Hopefully that doesn't make...too big, of a difference.

I wish wally world or EB still had GR Gold Edition for $10 in Newnan, then again having the $10 wouldn't hurt ether.

Well done to everyone who participated last night, it was well played guys and we certainly had a high success rate even if NoDebate kept threatening to commit suicide by advancing in random directions :laugh:

I wish Ghost Recon had better graphics, like less fog to increase the view.

Hey they weren't suicidal advances, I stuck in cover and watched the far flank. And I wasn't killed until En4cer threw his grenades.

It was only one grenade.. and I said.. it took exceptional skill to hit that 2 inch piece of wood instead of the 6 ft door... :laugh:

And as I do recall... that was the only time you stuck to cover

Hey, I did get Nodebate. He decided to walk beween my M86 and the tango that I was trying to eliminate. He had great timing to get infront of that bullet just before the bullet hit it's intended victim.
Nice work...NoDebate!!!!!!!lol

I also take great pride in the ability to hit a railing or a door jam with a nade. It is a acquired skill. Especially for an old guy. Welcome En4cer to that club. Viper would be proud!
And if I remember right, it was my nade skill that got that last tango!

Actually I think he died from OLD AGE waiting for you to creap up on him and stick that nade in his pants pocket....

When reading this topic, I must figure out how to play GR MP... Noob as I am in that game -- it is fun nevertheless...

Maybe we can get some lads together for a little bit of GR tonight, I finally found that Dark Angel 4.9 Link (one that actually works too)

Sorry guys... I cant seem to play anything right now... I think the EAX portion of my S card is dying... when EAX is on... I get tremendous amounts of distortion and garble.... when I turn it off... I get no sound at all, in game, sound still there at menus, just not in game.

So tomorrow I will go out and get another sound card. I am sure its hardware.... cause I have reinstalled GR, the Sound Drivers and tinkered with the programs all day....

Have to crack open the wallet..... :frown:

hey guys i have gr but its not installed on this computer but i have GRAW installed on this computer

Make sure you blow the dust out of the wallet first. Remember, Canada does not use paper 1's and 2's anymore!
Did not like GRAW demo. Could not get past a certain part. Graphics were cool though. Will not buy the game.
