I think activity dates for each member is just a little to much information. In my opinion, it would be better to keep the timeline simpler and short.

Interesting information might be when the clan was founded and who are the founding members. When was GCHQ permanently established. When was first member recruited. When was first promotion. When did the clan adopt Swat as a game. When were Live-ops, when was Sabre Squad started. When was website started or redone. When was CO leadership change... When was relationship with WT clan start. Were their any tournaments of competitions that SAS particiapted in...

These are some examples of what I would put on the timeline.

They got the Trooper dates / They kept an account of the Members ?

In addition I already note to email/talk to some members ....

Don't think Random or Jakub has writen down any trooper dates, but they can defiantly help you out whit some clan history.

I can make a few updates to that.

BrokenFrame and Smart are the same person I believe.

Capellan (same as Cappy) was in for ages, he should be blue.

Fang was a Trooper, but for less than a year. Should be yellow.

At least one, maybe both, of Rob and Robbo were Trp. Can't remember exactly, but they are two different people. One of them is Sniper's brother.

I remember Terran left under difficult circumstances, I think he was only a Rct and not a member but I am not 100% on that.

Also I'm sure James would know for sure, but arn't (or were at some point) the dates when they were added to the Mighty page not tryout dates.

For example The Mighty page says I've been in the SAS since Aug 20, 2005. Yet if you see the post by Wiz stating I had passed my Rct Tryout, it is dated: Aug 06, 2005. My 2nd trooper tryout took place 1 month and 8 days later..

So The Mighty pages cannot be counted on for exact dates Miles.

BTW.. SAS_Fang was also known as WhiteFang right?

We just need to clearify the last "Not Sure" guys, and we need to know if SAS_Agent is former SAS_Smart.

WhiteFang was just his name before he was in SAS. SAS_Fang was his name while he was in the clan.

In that case BrokenFrame must be someone else.

I just noticed the foundation date and some other choice details on the About [SAS] page.

i tried really hard to stay away from this topic but just couldnt. so many memories. i may have only been here for 2.5 yrs, but i know most of the names and should be able to clarify any questions that anyone has. what i dont understand is how you all got some of this information. as being one of the few that has read the entire archives and done a list of names of who was who long ago remember many of these names along with names that are not on there as well. ive been skimming through and have seen many questions previously answered most correct some not correct. if a new list could be written up ill take a look at it and answer it.

about how coop and random are older is either a one yr clerical error other then that is beyond me and will have to ask them.

something also bothering me there is Leon (old) and then there is not leon 2 but leon_ (new uses underscore)

oh one more thing to my knowledge (i did this too) Smart and brokenframe are not the same person and are two different people.

I have been looking through a lot of the past posts in the forum and i have found that this clan is very deeply steeped in history.

I hope SAS_Miles, that you are continuing to pursue this as i believe it is very important for this clan. It is strange and fascinating to see how this clan developed throughout time and even though on the brink of collapse was kept alive and has flourished into what you see today.

As for what to include, i would like to see a mention for every member of this clan, if not Rct's then most certainly Trp's. They should not be allowed to be forgotten.

Although nice Hexen, its too big to include i feel. Theres been hundreds of Trooper tryouts, even in my 18 months here.

i think he is refering to the people that have come and gone that reached the rank of trp and not the actual tryouts.
