The estimated release date is around august-october and i will definitely buy it as soon as it comes out. I'm not even sure can my computer play it, but i'm getting a new one around christmas. Is anyone of you going to buy this game? I know it isn't a very "tactical" game, more like a shooter action, but it has an advanced squad-system compared to BF2. (http://bf2142.com/content/Squads)

I voted, not really my style. I play BF2 but im not really into that futuristic, robot style gaming. Im hoping its not just BF2 with robots.

I'm only interested if it gives "Mechs" other wise I don't care for futureuesq combat. < Not much on Sci-Fi infantry beyond the level of the Space Marines in Aliens/AaB.

Yes lets hope that a great game with Mechs soon will arrive one the Skye. Man I miss the old roll playing days of battle tech (mech warrior board game) man I was def. mega cruel in my “recon light mech the locust. (the dieses always landet in favor of me, nice )

Close enough. May as well be driving the first Battlemech out of BT. (100ton slow wopper trashcan on legs). A 'Mech is big, usually agile enough and packs more firepower and armor then any thing short of a battleship on land. I'm talking big guns & lots of armor plate, fighting a 'Mech toe to toe is a job for a 'Mech or a ship. But infantry/battle armored infantry + armor can over take a careless 'Mech pilot.
I've always favored Medium mechs with heavy support/strike backed by light recon and devisionary units myself. Never have had much exp. /w the board game beyond "Megamech" which is a computer version of it.
