It seems like the whole box crashed this morning:
31/08/2017 04:33:46 UTC+1
That caused SWAT 4 SAS mod server not to start automatically which I manually started this evening at 2025 UTC.

It seems like the whole box is down.
I'm investigating..

Server box is running again.
I think the issue was ISP related, as any of my servers / switches / router has been turned off.

Applied some Windows Updates this morning. Downtime was 5 minutes.

Due to bad weather in Denmark, my parents house is once more inches away from getting flooded.
Even though their house remains dry, power outs may occur from now and the next 24 hours. This means that all game servers + TS might be unstable or unavailable for the next 24 hours.

I destroyed the server instead, so I had to use my backup server.
Will postpone this till I have a new computer.

This is no laughing matter but i found it amusing
I think "Oh dear" would be the understatement of the century!
Patiently looking forward to the new servers

I shut the server down, put an extra SSD into it and wanted to boot. I managed to access BIOS and activate raid, but when I needed to configure RAID, I couldn't even boot into BIOS. Only a few times after many restarts, I could access BIOS, but when I restarted again, no luck. Luckily I had a similar computer so I could just move the SSD to the new computer and restore the server that way.

Well done, thnx dc
Reminds me of another laptop I was fiddling around with at work today. Now it won't boot either. No BIOS at all. Perhaps I shouldn't touch computers anymore

Did you try resetting the CMOS?

Yes, I did. I managed to get into the BIOS again. I needed to restart again in order to click CTRL+I to configure RAID. However, upon restart nothing happened. I could hear/see the computer i starting, but no BIOS post.

Hmm have you considered using the logical RAID offered by Windows?
