Thanks for the link! I great review and I think he manages to draw out the some of the essentials of the game. One thing I never thought about is in fact what he says about the "campaign" - that they are not linked together. That has its charm...

Personally, I thought that Children Of Tarrone Tenement was much more creepy and morbid than Fairfax.

The basement with the shallow graves of children? That's some dark stuff in a videogame.

 

I actually liked the fact that the TSS campaign levels (at least) were linked to each other via the briefings, but could be played standalone anyway.

Great example I guess is that in the lead-up missions to Fresnal Street Station and the Stetchkov Warehouse missions, you're busting drug manufacturing plants run by the Stetchkovs or chasing illegal arms deals connected to them.

Then once the Stetchkovs and another criminal gang shoot up a goddamn train station and injure a police officer + civilians, the next mission's briefing tells that a high court judge has issued a warrant to raid what they suspect is the Stetchkov's base of operations.
