I agree with Duke. SAS mod should be used a lot more on servers. Perhaps in future versions there should be other SF units and not just SAS so that other clans get encouraged to use this mod more
Anyway, is 1.1 in the works? I completed some of my projects in RL, thus I have a bit more free time for more work, at least for a month-two. Since I lately explored special effects and sound design, if 1.1 is in the works I can design custom British Bobby voice overs (My agency lended me some really good and and professional TTS packs) or if any one of you volunteers to be voice actor (can instruct you how to build a good pop filter) that would be even better. I can also design weapon sound effects now as I got more tools and experience (which I got, and will still improve for the sound patch I announced a year ago, still a long way to go)
On top of that, I can do design (loading screens, custom textures, etc) as I've been doing this for both my own games and my clients over years.
So if 1.1 is in the works and you need some assistance with features I mentioned, let me know

Sure, we can use the AST|SAS-Mod Server. Most custom maps are installed. I can set a password to keep out univited visitors. But ofc AST members will still be allowed to join. Since not all of them are trusted friends of SAS, we might have to use the AST TS3 server aswell.
I was playing Arma2 with Master and Fluffy till now (ggs guys ). Moving on to AST SAS-Mod server now, join us if you want to. Btw we got a TS3 server ready incase some of you don't want to use mumble (some AST guys don't have the pw for SAS TS3).
We have our modded server ready to go in 1 click, but unfortunatly none of our members were good enough to tell me or DeCapi which of the several servers it is, despite me asking.
I think the reason you got such answers was because we misunderstood that you wanted us to give a new name to the server, instead of looking for its previous name. Glad this is sorted out.

Let's say... Saturday, 27th of April, around 1700 GMT (time is negotiable, if it suits more people better). Members and Friends are welcome and encouraged to attend. TeamSpeak 3 is required, if only to listen.

I'm in for it! Though I can't promise I will attend however because of my work I might miss that one.
Hmmm. Now that stats don't actually matter on S4 servers and nobody competes for score, how about you guys convert S4 PG server to both vanilla and SAS mod where SAS mod will be active only weekends? That way we can play both the vanilla and even SAS mod without breaking the regular schedule or having to organize games in order to play SAS mod

SAS Mod's on TG(4 I believe, it's currently on maintenance), Maven. We don't have a SAS Mod PG that I know of, just a regular SWAT one.

I joined A2 session but then left as I had an annoying bug with CO and TS3. Thought SAS mod event was canceled and went to work

From what I understand, previously "SAS Training Ground 4" was the dedicated SAS mod server. So, that would be the one.
