A guild (online group of allied players) decided to honor one of their mates who died in Real Life. They decided to have a funeral for him in Virtual Life. Another guild showed up at their location to pay their respects.
Dam thats low.
That was wrong in several ways...
Who holds a VIRTUAL funeral?
Who holds it in a pvp area?
Who disturbs something that might seem odd, but it's their choice?
I would personally track down their clan leader and kick his ass. Let him know how it must feel. Let him know how it feels to never walk again...
Desecration of any funeral is unacceptable, and should be acted upon in an unacceptable manner.
I cannot fathom that the Lord has blessed us with logic and rationality and have us forgo their use.
Whether online or in real life a funneral is a funneral, friends paying their respects to some one who has died.
To interupt it and ruin it is one of the lowest things I can think of anyone wanting to do.
Paying respect is paying respect, in whatever manner you choose to display it.
Being a total asshole is just that, and applies to reality and the virtual world created by the internet.
While I don't agree that a virtual online funeral was the BEST way to mourn the loss of a friend, I respect the people who put it together for showing common decency.
To those who "crashed" this funeral, you must be, without a doubt, the lowest and most irretreiveably stupid group of cluster ***ks and assholes that have ever disgraced the internet with your prescence. Burn in hell.
I've yet to get my new browser sorted out so i can watch the vid, but I'm included to agree with Merges sentiments.
This is just like someone hacking onto our site and desecrating our tribute to Sinister. I myself would hunt anyone like that down and put them in a box.
I hope they get what’s coming to them.
