What games do you play besides Swat 4 and RVS?

Guys are you just playing RVS and/or Swat? Both are fantastic games but sometimes I think there is time for a change.

Besides I am currently playing Flight Sim X and STALKER.

So what games you are playing if you are not on TG 1 or 3? Wink

Ok, all im gonna say is that you guys need to get BF2, and lets have some nights where we all play some organized matches. Maybe it would work better if Sniper got a server up and running Biggrin

I'm not playing anything other than the two clan games of ours, at the moment. School + games are a bad combination!
I'm going to play a whole lot of Grand Theft Auto 4 though, when it comes out early 2008. I'm getting the PS3 almost just for that particular game lol :).

I play Command and Conquer Generals including the expansion pack
BF2, MOH, and Hitman.

Yes Snipe it would be great if the Clan would get a server running so we could maybe develop our tactics into BF2.

I may take it upon myself to get a server running and have it locked for SAS members only. The only thing it wouldnt be an official SAS server.

The only games I play regulary are the [SAS] ones (RvS/SWAT4). On the consoles I have a fondness for the Soul Blade/Calibur, Tekken, Armored Core, Syphon Filter, and SOCOM side but rarely use my PS2.

I have many games and I tend to play them from time to time. The ones I play most often are probably

Americas Army Ops (since v1.4'ish)
Battlefield 2 (and Special Forces)
Delta Force (I, 2, LW, TFD, BHD, Xtreme)
SWAT3
Call of Duty part I and UO exp pack
Medal of Honor Allied Assault (quake lasers!)
Free DooM (freesoftware Doom II wads)
Quake IV
F.E.A.R. part one (single player).
Battle for Wesnoth
SuperTux

I have a fondness for aerial combat but have never found a Combat flight simulator that I like.

Every now and then I'll pick up a game an dplay it, but mostly I just play Rvs/S4 because of [SAS].

I never got to play part I Sad

I have placed Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere (would love the Japen version) on the PS1 and Ace Combat IV on the PS2.

Good games but I found part 3 a little un realistic, I mean flying about 45m off the ground at maybe 3800-4000km/hour in my Berkut was a little strange :-). Part 4 was nice and more realistic but I got dissatisfied with the bomb enough and run stuff. Those games are more about fun then simulation but are very fun most times.

I'm used to carrying out high speed attacks verus ground targets, after a ton of crashes when I first started. I got good, my brother once described me as lethal when he showed me AC04 lol. We usually fought to a stand still in the PvP mode with me in a Tomcat.

I like the dog fighting part of flight sims, never found a decent challenge in any game. Once I've managed to get into that sweet spot, the AI usually can do little more then suck cannon fire. Most combat flight sim's I've tried normally boil down to dodging enemy missiles in order to get within range of using the AIM-9's once the AIM-120's are out.

In Ace Combat III, the dual with the Raven and Aurora are my favorite operations, because they have the strongest AI and very manueverable jets. The op going through the tunnel/'brigde area is also nice because I like the time to practice maneuvering in close quarters. The games very arcady (you can maneuver great at Mach 2++) but a lot of fun. The one jet with 80~150 some missles vs a fighter wing was ok to. It did get better in later games but not my style.

I think a WWI or WWII flight sim would better suit me lol (never had much interest in my copy of IL-2 tho).

Hey guys,

I liked Mafia and the Mechwarrior series very much. Other games I have played are both Jedi Knights, all "Thief" games, Splinter cell, Ghost recon + AW, and some flight and racing simulators. Today I bought a price-reduced version of Farcry - very nice.
But the best game - to my opinion - is RVS, followed by SWAT 4.

Sniper, you have C&C Generals too? We should set up a game sometime. Wink Other then S4 and RVS. Games which I play infrequently: GTA San Andreas, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Call of Duty 2, the original Splinter Cell 1 & 2 (pretty old but very fun). Thats about it.

Here you go http://xtremenorway.com/image_upload/sim.jpg
Not completely finished. Needs some paint and when i get a bigger place to put the cockpit in i will change the two upper monitors for a couple of projectors.

If you want to build a "real" cockpit i suggest you to follow this guy. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c380/vrinsk/IMG_0971.jpg
Its not finished yet but it will look like a real plane in the end i guess.

Though in Norwegian, scroll through this post to look at the building process. might just get some ideas.

Wow your cockpit looks great! How many monitors do you use, 4? How long does it takes you to build it?

Takes 4 monitors (or 2 monitors and 2 projectors)
Takes way to much time to build. (mine =4 moths and counting)
I made everything myself for two reasons. 1. cheaper. 2 more fun.
You can buy almost all parts for a 737 on the internet, but then its going to be expensive.
Some guys i know spend between $15.000 and $30.000 on their cockpit...
