I deleted GAME BOOSTER today because it failed to work after the last update. When I went to download the latest version I got a Yellow WOT rating. I checked this page and was disturbed by what I read. I have not reinstalled GAME BOOSTER and I plan to run an AV scan today.

If your talking about their ethical issues it is not that disturbing.

It all ads up to malware from a company with a lot of ethical issues. I should trust them to install their software on my roommates computer?
I knew you had some problems with ethic Cougar, but not that much lol!

Most things that involve delving into system files are picked up as viruses, imho 99% of the time, this is not the case. Gambooster actually ran on the old SAS server for quite a while without a problem.

I ran GAME BOOSTER through http://www.virustotal.com and it ran clean of malware on 40 AV programs. I have reinstalled it on this computer.

Virustotal's program is recommended by http://www.lifehacker.com, a trusted source. It is particularly useful to weed out false positives from AV programs.
Game Booster isn't a virus, the value it has isn't provable however without profiling and source review.
I thought profiling was pulling over an Arab-American for driving past the White House.
It's also used in *real* performance analysis
