Hello members of one of the top swat/rvsclan/team,
I was just listening up to some of the songs i made during my very exciting time of membership in the sas-family and it finaly came to me.
a trip down memorylane!
SAS has been my first and best experience in having an online family.
although my time in the inner cirlce was breef, it was one hell of a ride.
Back in the days, when i was "ingame" we used to make songs for all those who got promoted, some sounded like sh*t, some sounded great but they ALL came from the hart!, that is what i remember from my family.
If you wanna know what if feels like to get your own song, just ask Cpl_duke, heheh darkknight, i knew him even as a LCpl and he will hopefully tell you how it feels to get a personal song made for only 1 person and 1 person only!
In the end what it comes down to is ,...........if you see a man shooting left from you,. shoot in the same direction.
To the council of SAS, for what i have done(deserted) i am sorry but i sticked with R.A.S.T.
For those who are currently applying, GIVE IT YOUR ALL GODDARN BEST, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! SAS was,..........is,.........and will be one of THE best if not, THE best teams if it comes to Special Weapons And Tactics!
These are the days when a man changes into the man he is gonna become for the rest of his live, just be carefull who you change into. Just because you CAN beat another guy doesnt mean you HAVE to, and finaly remember........
with great power comes great responsibility!
as always,
Kind and kinky

Hey woodlake good to hear from you again, hope everything is going well for you.
Like Bret Hart once said, "the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be."
Hey there Wood!
I had to pause for a while to let these words sink.
I totally agree, its the best gaming experience you can get in my opinion unless you are a lonewolf.
Only know the "Eye if the Tiger" song. Not sure if it's one of them. But quite good. I'd like to hear them all...

Hello Lake!
These are good words. Come play with us sometime in our server! We currently don't have a SWAT server, but, if you have RVS, pop in from time to time.

Dang, I still have a few of those songs. Yes, you know me, gotta kiboze threads with multiple spiderman references in them.
For the age that many people came into SAS, and that tend to, and even to similar units. I wish more people would take that to heart.
G'day Woodlake

So true, Spidey. I have but one regret when it comes to this team. If I had taken a more active role (even though it is not my duty) in recruit training then many of the sour grapes would have made their wine elsewhere and would not have polluted our cask. I would have sniffed them out and rejected them before they had a chance to foul the batch.
As it stands, that wine has been purged and returned to the soil. Our product is once again sweet and with a pleasant bouquet.

That's largely irrelevant to what I was saying. Or should I say, examining the problem from a totally different perspective, or a totally different problem, depending on how you interpret my choice of words.
Being a happy rōnin, I'll just butt out rather than encourage sword play among the readers ;).
Isent it the same thing?

1st part is nostalgic.
The quoted 2nd part is cautionary about being at a moldable age and taking care to make good decisions.
What else could you mean by the last part other than we and other units like us attract people who are mostly of that moldable age and must take care to chip away at the bad parts and save the good parts and do our best to avoid the reverse.
My quote line paraphrases the same concept.
