Hey everyone.
Swat4 just came in yesterday and so far I've only done the tutorial.
I'm not much for campaigns, and I'd kind of like to just jump into coop with yall.
What I would like to know is if it is a good idea to just jump in and start with coop, and if you have any pointers for a Swat4 beginner.
Thanks,
-Yogi

I never realy did the campaign. Just the 2 or 3 first missions. For the rest, it will come by playing it.

Hi, Yogi!
Playing the campaign is not needed, especially because it gives you a wrong impression of how to stack up on a door. But 2-3 rounds are no fault either in order to get used to the game (for example: how to deploy a wedge, pick a lock, which number is what tacaid). Further it's pretty useful for learning how to lead a team concerning giving commands.
Some tips:
-------------
- take the MP5 / 9 mm SMG: very accurate and very low recoil
- use any weapon only on singleshot / burst - no need of bulletspray in hostage situations.
- roomclearing: enter opposite of the man in front of you
- covering: If EL (element leader) orders you to cover something --> no need to walk to the red marker, just cover that direction
- if primary runs dry --> use your secondary weapon till it's safe to reload
- the longer you press the button, the more far the tacaid is thrown
- learning by doing
