I love your wallpaper Lake Smile

My desktop I don't change a lot, because most of the time I have programs running and rarely look at it other then to growl at the amount of icons and temp files...

Desktop Hmm, some how it got resized.... supposed to be 1600x1200 =/

My laptop I do change quite often, usually wall papers every few weeks and I often change the layout of panels and things every few months. Because I love working on my laptop more :-).

I take screen shots every now and then, so heres a few that I've found online in chronological order.

Laptop: Semi Transparent main panel

2 Panels and a task bar -> the icons in the lower left hand corner are on a semi-transparent panel not desktop icons hehe.

No taskbar, Desktop Panel uptop, and a System Tray docked + semi-transparent in the corner.

My Laptop today -> Also shows how many wall papers I've collected (597 files).

I haven't had time to rearrange it since last month because I've been working to much to use my laptop a lot at night lol.

If any one wants any of my wall paper collection, just ask for a copy.

Hahaha, it is probably the most plain Wall Paper I've ever chosen =/

For a while I had it set to rotate between 1 of 500 pictures every 5 minutes lol.

if you have a good pc vista is (can be) better

but if you have a pc which is not very good (like my one...) i guess that xp is better

XP is without doubt more stable then XP, but Vista is not as unstable as it was 6 months ago (and is getting better every day). Im running Vista on 3 laptops and 2 desktops without problems now.

I've never tried Vista, but I have a very crappy desktop-turned-server running OpenBSD and a very crappy Laptop running FreeBSD and both are more stable then my very nice Desktop running Windows XP LOL.

As long as Vista isn't worse then XP on stability, I'd probably just buy a better GPU and a 3rd Gig of RAM then ask how many more hacks then XP did will I need to get it to match my work flow better Wink

I do admit Vista looks nice on a desktop but if I wanted eye candy, KDE4 baby Wink

I like my work flow to be able to define my desktops design and look nice too if I'm staring at it for 60+ hours a week. XP's never done that for me, so Vista couldnt' be much worse... lol

Depends how we define "stable/unstable". When I say Vista is more stable than XP, I mean it hasn't crashed/freezed yet since I installed the OS, 11 months ago. And I don't get weird error messages like in XP. Seems like Vista solves problems in a decent way.
At least on my computer (ASUS A6Jm notebook) Vista is much more stable than XP Home. (maybe XP Pro is more stable than XP Home?).

I use a program called wallMaster sometimes which rotates it to other images, but they are all along the same theme.

By the way, SAS_Fox's looks minging, why would you choose that computer generatoed monstrosity over a hot chick???

Are you like, computersexual or something?

I dont know, i hate to be nasty, but the question has to be asked.
