Well, it's too late now for any advice I might have so........hit em hard and watch your six. Remember you are working in a large, enclosed space so a flashbang may not blind everyone.
Hooah :-), and might I suggest tear gas?
I thought about tear gas, spidey, but if it's college the room may be too big to get everyone. On the other hand, a bang on the front stage should get most of those facing the instructor. One must be careful not to get the bang in between those tightly placed rows of seats.
