Hi Guys.
As Lt_Col of this team, i have been asked to make a public statement, to quash any rumours or theories about our game servers.
Basically, our providers; Primary Target servers, have been getting worse and worse in terms of reliability over a period of time, this includes long downtime, and lack of support; amongst other things.
Despite us spending literally thousands of US dollers with them over the years, and being patient during the various equipment failures, and even a large and total failure of a datacenter due to fire...It would seem that we are no longer worthy of decent service.
Senior SAS 22nd EVR members are working on a solution, right now.
I want everyone who appreciates and enjoys our servers and services, to lay in peace and rest-assured that this is by no means an end to SAS.. This is a simple and short blip in our history.
Normal service WILL be resumed shortly.

I was wondering where did servers go.
There are few options out there (some cheaper) that you can explore for S4. For a company to disrespect/not prioritize their loyal customers is really bad, you should have foreseen this since 1st signs appeared.
Anyway, I have few ideas on how to help fund servers (maybe even high end ones) contact me if interested.

With the occurrence of these unfortunate recent events, how does this statement stand as of now?
Lots people in the community working on it. Not 100% sure, today i heard aobut a new hoster for the masterserver and a patch will come which needs to be installed on each server to show up in the new serverlist (ingame).

A technical question.
Do you plan to implement Gez's Mod on the SWAT servers or will you switch to Mark's Mod?
Off the top of my head, it will probobly be marks mod, but that depends on what is practical.

Thanks to all those involved for bringing the SWAT 4 servers back up. Hopefully it isn't long before the default RvS server(s) are back up too. You gotta love them throwing knives and patrolling tangos :).
