problem whit swat

Does it work well in single player mode? How about on a variety of different servers?

If it doesn't work in single player mode, its a problem between your computer and SWAT.

If it doesn't work on some servers, but works on others, its a problem between your connection, and the servers.

If it doesn't work on any servers, its either a problem with your connection or your firewall.

Mate the server has been down quite a bit lately they are updating it and setting up the new IP and the Gez Mod !

Dont worry bout the crashing and lag i get that too i think everyone is im sure it will be sorted soon!

Sometimes Xfire takes a large portion of your bandwidth

Running a GeForce 8400 (or other 8x00 card maybe)

or an AMD Dual Core / Tri Core / Quad Core chip ?

open your %ProgramFiles%\Sierra\SWAT 4\System\ContentExpansion\Swat4X.ini file and locate the [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] section. Change UseHardwareTL=True to read useHardwareTL=False, save file and try again.

If it continues do the same with UseHardwareVS (set it to false).

%ProgramFiles% == many programs default installation prefix, example:

C:\Program Files\Sierra\SWAT 4\ContentExpansion\System\Swat4X.ini

Z:\Foo\Sierra\SWAT 4\ContentExpansioin\System\Swat4X.ini

Warning:

Even if this fixes the game it will also likely break Night Vision Goggles and "stun" visual effects when you get gassed, etc.

If you are using a router..there is a fix for this, as most router settings dont allow for MSNs MTU requirements
