Please read

In recent months a few times things have started up discussions on our board out of complete misinterpriation. This occurs in all forms of text based communication for two reasons. If you think you know the tone of the other persons voice you are proabbly wrong and people are much more willing to be mean and rash in text then in spoken word for some wierd biological reason.

for reference:

I propose the following rules

Discussions that are likely to result in diagreement should occur in a voice based enviroment.

If for any reason the issue cannot be resolved between parties, a party should poll GCHQ for intervention. GCHQ should take part in a voice based meeting with all parties present as possible. GCHQ's decision in the matter is final and should not be revisited for a period of 3 months.

The decision of GCHQ is not to be posted publically in the forums unless specified by GCHQ. If a demotion must occur or a change in policy made, It will occur in a post by GCHQ with no requirement for the reason why to be noted. Private matters between members and GCHQ should be kept internal between those parties involved.

No there was a little thing in the forums alittle while back but this is a policy Ive been bouncing around thats been applied generally on other forums ive been on. Think of it as policy preventing such occurances Smile
