I saw this doc on youtube and I can recommend it. These lads go out with small vehicles and do the recon work in afghanistan. They rely on themselves for weeks and operate in enemy territory. The journalist goes with them on a mission and it results in fights with taliban. Great doc.

Yes pathfinders are an awesome group of people. In the US Army we use Cav Scouts. Which are what the name implies. Scouts who rely on themselves for weeks at a time. Also an awesome group of people.
Military life is having a plan. Then a new plan. Then another plan. Then the first plan. Then a brand new plan only to go back to the 2nd plan.
Purty darn Cool right there.
