But please over 18s only, i have made a TS channel for the players and if it gets late and you have had enough of the serious shooting for the night, hook us up for a game of poker.
But why would any person prohibit another for playing? It's his or her personal choice to break the law or not. Besides, if it isn't for money, it isn't gambling.
At any rate, I just discovered playing poker for money IRL is illegal in Belgium. I can tell you the cops have an illegal gambling problem on their hands. That game is booming in the colleges.
The German Law is different........just people over 18 alowed to gamble....i think that is no gambling too.....because you win nothing.......but it is so....
i dont care....i play poker online and nobody asking me how old i am....
party poker is actually only legal for people over 18 to play ... technically you breaking the law when you play it although you are younger than 18 ... but still nobody cares at all ...
In the USA depending on state it should be legal for any one >= 18 or 21 in most parts.
Playing with Real Money which they do or did at one time support is illegal for US Players so at least 1/3 or more of the [SAS] has to use monoply money
Simple fact is it promotes gambling and they don't want to get sued, its not good for business free playmoney or other wise.
Wiz and I were mostly thinking of just having some laidback "Play" money games after a day of playing/ training on the servers. Just having a game where we could take a break from our usual games.
It does ask you to confirm that your over 18 when you sign up for an account. And as a major i have to cover bases and not condone illegal activity amongst clan members.
Like was said earlier, as an individual, what you do is your choice.
unfortunately because i'm just short of the 18 mark i'm technically "lying", however, i know all forms of poker that is possible and basically, i'm a prime target for the cops *runs and hides*
That would actually be really cool Snipe. Good idea! Cigars and Whiskey all the way!
BTW, Its free to play.
It is free.

Havn't played poker in a looong time but used to enjoy an occasional game of Five-card draw and learning other forms of poker.
Would be interesting but I think I'll stick to kpoker and the rest of the kdegames package for now
i would do it........but only No-Limit Texas Hold`em......Nice Idea
william hill poker is also very good, its free and they have a number of pot sizes as well as no limit texas hold em
partypoker has no limits hold em

Gambling with play money is legal anywhere, anytime.
Exactly my point.

does this mean i should be arrested for having played monopoly as a child?
If you used real money... maybe. Then again, monopoly isn't a gambling game. Poker isn't really gambling either.

They ask you if you're over 18 in case you want to play with Real Money. Other than that, its not gambling unless it's with Real Money.
