do you guys officially play any other games? I found an awful lot of people on TeamFortress 2 servers with the [SAS] tag and wondered whether you ever thought of branching out....

There is a long long extremely long process we go thru before we branch out to another game. You think the selection process is long....branching out is even longer. There is a lot of stuff that we do before we even consider taking up another game. I wont go into details, but its extremely time consuming and lots of people lose their souls during the process.
Military life is having a plan. Then a new plan. Then another plan. Then the first plan. Then a brand new plan only to go back to the 2nd plan.

RvS and SWAT4TSS are the only 2 officials games yet.
Beside of that, we often play ARMA2 (free edition) and the expansion, from time to time we make some decent rounds of NFS HOT PURSUIT.

Team Fortress serie is really not the kind of game SAS is interested in. We only have official games which are tactical and looks like a bit what happens in real life.

that's what I thought as well when I saw a bunch of [sas] tagged people running at people without stacking up, getting a command for what to do from their EL and finally going in slowly and carefully...tf2 and SAS/RVS are leagues apart from eachother...

You also have to keep in mind. That in every FPS there is a SAS clan. Seeing as how we only play RVS and SWAT 4 with other games here and there, That isnt us.

I am just rvs myself, I have tried swat a couple of times but cant get the rvs outa me.
