Nostalgia, dude!!
Besides, Operation Flashpoint still has the best campaign i ever saw in a game, with an excellent character development, dark humour , and a great storyline, with some pretty tense moments!!
Anyway im up for it, but i think u already knew that!!
Im making an interesting mission in the editor, maybe we can try it out then (and dont worry, it has blackhawks, Fluffles ;))!
Im waiting for all of you guys!!!
All you need to do to run ANY game is to meet minimum ram memory required and to have a graphic card that supports the minimum pixel and vertex shader version, if you have that, everything else can be tuned up to the extremes where you can end up playing all the newer titles with nearly highest settings
I might buy a gaming rig later on, but for now, being stuck with the work policy that prevents me from using my high-end workstation for gaming, I'll be stuck with few older systems. On the oldest of them I managed to play ArmA 2 on medium, MOH2010 on highest, Swat 4 on highest The Regiment on highest Half Life 2 on highest and even Crysis was on highest except the resolution (!) and it's a single core with 1.5 ddr2 ram and ATI3450 HD...
Alienware looks good, but, no offense, it's overpriced crap, for that money you can build 2-3 times as stronger system with even better looks, and far better alternative than Alienware is MainGear Shift, not to mention that with the saved money you can build headtracker, touchscreen control panel for flight sims, a custom hardware firewall and even an external screen or two, also a vibra backed wheel, and any other necessary hardware you might need to play games like they should be played
Fluff, I don't have the game, otherwise I would join you though

Ah but Maven, no dedicated gfx card remember? Highest I can get it 128mb shared which isnt that bad seeing as I have plenty of RAM to go around. What tweaks are you talking about exactly?

It is true that Alienware setups look gorgeous, but seeing the games graphics today and specially their high system requirements I'm sure you would rather spend more time starring at your screen than at your craftmans-grade computer case
Just check Arma 3 Lightning demo, that game gonna rock!

my pc is assembled, for me, by me..with good reason. and all you need to know is that it runs at 23 degrees C

Well, that's something different
I see you like craftmanship, so check out Victorinox and Vostok Europe collections (not pcs) as well as flylyf.com

FIELD REPORT FOR OPERATION: PET ROCK
Fluffy and I were deployed in a forest behind enemy lines with scoped and silenced M4s in the middle of the night with the objectives to infiltrate an enemy town, plant 4 explosive charges on enemy tanks and blow them up.
There were 2 patrols, a perimeter group and a group patrolling the street where the tanks were.
Infiltration went well, we got to the tanks quickly and planted the bombs. Then things went out of control as I got spotted by the perimeter control while trying to decide if another bomb need to be planted.
We beat a hasty retreat to the forest, dodging the patrols and blew the tanks sky high once we were safe.
Unfortunately one tank failed to blow up, so I had to cover fluffy while he went back with his remaining bomb. This unfortunately lead to a fair amount of the patrolling guards ending up filled with lead.
Fluffy arrived back and then blew up the final tank.
Objectives Complete!

W/ Charlie providing highground support, Foxtrot infiltrates the compound, rigs the BMPs to blow, neutralizes Guba, and exfils with haste, detonating the BMPs when safely out of blast radius.
Operation live:
Inserted behind enemy lines on top of a hill overlooking the compound. Charlie took up a support position, and Foxtrot proceeded to infiltrate the base. Foxtrot entered via east gate, rigged BMP 1, then backtracked, and circled around to the west gate. En route to west gate, situation was compromised, with Foxtrot taking enemy fire. Foxtrot and Charlie returned fire, with foxtrot circling around to west gate. Foxtrot rigged BMP 2, and then pushed into the compound. The remaining members of the two patrols were put down, and Foxtrot entered the main complex, killing Guba almost immediately. Inside the main complex, Foxtrot came under fire while rigging BMP 3, and Foxtrot 1 was KIA. With the help of Charlie, Foxtrot 2 put down the remaining members inside the complex. The remainder of Foxtrot with Charlie rigged the last BMPs and exfiled the compound, detonating the charges and completing the mission.
Are you satisfied Master?

Yes! That was an amazing mission!
I laughed when I blew up the two tanks in the complex, along with a section of the wall and all power was cut. That was epic!
