Greetings everyome!
After playing SWAT 4 TSS yesterday i thought i register myself to the most hardest (but still fair), most tactical and most awesome SWAT 4 clan.
I've been playing SWAT 4 on your servers before, but that was about 3 or 4 years ago. For those who can remember my old name, my old name was "R420".
Well, since i heard that the SAS clan is more active now on SWAT 4, i'll only play on your server.
Before that, i played on the SOG servers. OK, it's a clan with many servers and SWAT 4 only, but some things always have bothered me:
- You must have luck to have players who really play good
- No really tactical discussion before the mission starts
And that makes the SAS clan so unique. I've never seen a clan going this deep into tactics (discussion of everyone's loadout and formation of the team).
I don't want to praise or bootlick the SAS clan.
These arguments are FACTS AND IT'S NOT AN OPPINION.
Are there any bad things to say about SAS clan? Well, yeah:
-No Opti-wand. I mean, what? No Opti-Wand? In SWAT 4? What's wrong with having no Opti-Wand? It's a key loadout to success in hostile situations.
I don't understand it, it's like "yeah, we maybe got some suspects and civillians in there, we have no optiwand so lets rush in and kill everyone". Dudes, this is SWAT 4, not Rainbow Six...
No matter with or without these complains, this clan will be my favorite clan and i hope we have lots of good gaming together.
Over and out.
P.S.: It may look weird to list all the critic in a introduction thread, but i really had no idea where to post this.
Optiwand is a good tool, but when we are not in the server, it gets used too much...aka abused. The gameplay is better without the wand if you have players who want to wand everything--including the corners of every hall.
We want to provide the best, consistently high level of gameplay and the optiwand, for all its benefit, had to stay in the van.

Mh, never thought of that, very good argument. Maybe i'm used to have an Opti-Wand, so it might be very strange to not having it.
But i think i can handle it.
G'day KDeimos89 welcome to the website, see you on the SAS server soon hopefully.

Hi there, Deimos
Nice to see you registered and thanks for your detailed introduction.
I remember R420 about 4,5 - 5 years ago back in the day I was a regular player on the SAS TraningGround #3 without SAS-tags...
Glad you've found your way back here.
WELCOME on forum and servers, Deimos - enjoy your stay
And concerning optiwand: I can only remember to have used it about 2 years ago in a STEALTH-Training I conducted.
Optiwand just slows the team down. SAS stands for Speed, Agression, Surprise - that's what it's all about. Be more regular around and you will agree that there's no really need of the optiwand when playing SAS-style - the way the game is meant to be played
