As soon as I can locate my replacement aerial, I will be reformatting my gaming machine.... Reinstalling XP SP2 MCE followed by SP3 followed by reinstalling all software and re-shoehorning it into a 'decent' user interface by any means necessary.
Today I'm compiling my "todo" list, tomorrow I'll hopefully have my "backups" done, and hopefully have time to nuke and install Windows either Fri or Sats with a working RvS/S4 install soon after. It should take at least 6 hours to get my machine back online once the operation starts (e.g. kill windows), so I may as well plan ahead now lol....
In the advent of drastic system failure.... I'll be even more thankful to GOD for a FreeBSD powered laptop !!!
Good luck m8
Well when my PC crashed it took me hours and hours to get it back to the way it was!
Spidey from what i know of you it would not surprise me if you had over 20 hard drives running 20 different operating systems over 10 networks on 5 servers and with a direct access into the pentagon mainframe!
All im saying is think bout what your doing! hehe

Never change a running system - I had planned to reinstall my rig in about 6 hours - at last it becam 2 weeks and an 2-hour-telephone-help from Timbo. So, as I started: NEVER CHANGE A RUNNING SYSTEM (good luck, hope to get u back sometimes)
I am with Dallers, I have no doubt it will go smoothly, or at least take half the time it would take me
What the WO1 actually means is...

What I figured.
Well as long as you know what you're doin
I generally agree Pitman, my BSD machines are like swiss clocks.... As long as there is power, they keep on tick'n and there has been nothing to ever cause me to reinstall them.
My Windows XP box on the other hand, it's less painful to reformat then whip her back into shape.
I transfered about 3~4gb of files to my OpenBSD machine over the network last night, most of it is software... Since my 4~5gb of personal files are all stored on the server and shared with my other systems. Being the maniacal planner, I've got this planned down to my %PATH% and directory structure.
My XP disks take ~4 hours to install, follow that by setting up my file system and shoehorning applications into the right locations will probably at least take 3~8 hours. Considering that I've also got 2 DVD images to mount and install software from on top of that the software I've offloaded. Now that I think of it I've got a CD-R full of RvS maps that I need to go hunt down on top of that... rofl. My Windows installation is also customized a fair bit, which takes a lot of kicking around.
I should only be down for most of a day.... Unless something goes horribly wrong, like RvS/TSS not playing nice with newer nVidia drivers and such.
Reformat operation starting in 5 minutes..... Cross ya fingers lads.
So far so good, only a few problems with my web browser and mic, everything else.... Is just the pains of kicking Windows into obience.
RvS is installed and working smoothly, I hope to have SWAT setup tonight
GL bro!
