The information of my origin and therefore my mother-tongue is only granted to authorized personal only. For the simple reason that I expirenced every 4-year-old who you tell that he and you have the same origin thinks of you as his mate and friend and will probably start docents of idiotic nonsence-talks with you, which he wouldn't even bother to start in english 'cause he lacks the skills to express himself. That's why I don't tell people my origin before I either know they are nice folks or consider them as my friends.
My Native Tongue is pretty obvious. Its to be found out in the left panel
But i will hopefully learn Spanish almost as good as my Native Language because after June i will spend 10 months in Costa Rica. Without my Family and very little contact to the homeworld.
I hope this works fast and without complications :?

My mother knows how to speak Italian because her Grandmother only spoke the Dialect from home. So she learned it in order to communicate with her, they spent a lot of time together while my mom was little so she learned. If she didn't well it wouldn't have been many quality conversations lol....
My Great Grandmother only knew her Name in English and not much else I think.
I have a lot of people I work with and half the problem is that they tend to speak they're first language and forget the English. I guess that is a problem when you work with elderly from different backgrounds. I would like to go to a mostly German home. I don't know why, but I guess I am part German. I learned a little back in high school, but forgot a lot since I never used it.
Being able to be in an environment where you're mostly exposed to the language your learning instead of your own. Is much better imho. Because its basically sink or swim. You pick it up as you go or your being like a PC User without a keyboard.
I know there is little chance for me to be around non-English/Spanish speakers, since on TS we're almost always speaking in English or the occasional Norse/Danish tongue xD and where I live you ether have to speak English or Spanish (or both) to be understood lol....
And DVD Subtitles in the USofA are in English, Spanish, and French (ala Canada, USA, Mexico release probably). So there goes that too lol. I can live with reading & writing better, rather then speaking in an understandable manor lol.
lol nice jonsi. hope you do not forgot some languages.

I do know a little German, but am rusty. Maybe someone can teach me a little more.
Of course I could us some Italian or maybe get that French that I know I should have learned in High school, but hated it. Sorry Lazko, but true.
