That is Funny...bordering on Irony..
You know, I've been playing games since I was in diapers.... tried or owned practically everything in the mainstream USA market place until the GameCube was released. And maybe across a dozen or so game systems -> I've never had a single failure, even among 2nd hand consoles.
And a few of them almost lasted from early 90s to early 2000s lol.
Well when it comes to customer support you always have a handful of rarities when it comes to problems. Xbox is a great machine, no doubt about it, but there will always be "unlucky" customers.
And ofcourse they always make the press
Dont blame microsoft!
Any console that you can't play 12 hours straight of the most hard core games available for it, have crammed on top of a HOT TV running over 20 hours a day, and still be in working shape at least 5 years of constant [ab]use later --> is a piece of crap in my book.
It should also be able to survive being stepped on by your mother a few times, pissed on by the cat, and being splashed with soda pop by a ditzy girl next door lol.
