Yeah, its used to be we would plan every mission. Nothing like that anymore, it kinda keeps me playing BF2. I usually ask if anyone wants to element, i almost always get the response: "Next round, we just did one." Seriously, isn't that what you asked for when applying to SAS? I'm not saying that we need to do it every round, that's why we have the tango hunts on the map rotation, but Damn, we almost never plan anymore. The last good game i had was Spidey's challenge, which was a couple days back. Maybe i'm missing out because i got school in the morning, but on the weekends, when I sometimes have time, I really hope for some serious games, and maybe couple fun rounds. And please, not more of this Swat 4 is faster than RVS bullsh*t, the way we play now is almost nothing in comparison with how we used to plan and play.
Some one told me some time ago that when several [SAS] Members grouped together. It was the natural conclusion to form an Element and plan the mission out. On that matter I often have a common thing.
If I feel like leading and planning and no one else is, I will ask others to join me. "Whose up for elemental work?"
If we need an Element Leader and no one else will do it, I will.
I try to give others a chance but will do it if asked or if no one else will.
EL is not my favorite role (which is Cover man) but I have often been one. I've never really felt my self as a 'leader' type but I can plan and lead a mission well enough. If no one else will I'll do it even if I'd rather be Rear Guard for the game lol.
If people would rather not take part in an Element with me, I don't force them to. I just expect them not to complain if the Element gets most of the map done lol.
If you guys want me to try and get some games set up, I'll put gears in motion.
Troopers get in the game when on the server. Plan the mission element style, from top to bottom, that will 9 out of 10 times make the troublemakers go away by them self.
And if they dont...then the lag of admin rights can be handelt another way hehehehhe..
I will love to do all games on TG1 element style, but it is hard everytime you com on and ask players if they want to play element, then you are the only one that wants that....and if they ask for element then you are the only one again to plan and lead.....this is hard....but this is why we are the bloody SAS
Yep, seems like we're only playing for fun these days, and only have semi-planned missions. Let's play more properly from now on.
Full plans with drawings on the F4-map and all, and full weapon loudouts too.
Working in an organized element would be far better than just running about without a plan. Plenty of RVS planning and precise loadouts, combined with Rct's working on their leading. Not to mention the Cadet.

I second that Snipe lets bring back the good old days when we was planning every map on the server.
We seem to have not plan due to the other player which is wrong its the clans server lol.
What we need is En4cer back to drill more lol.

Yeah, I miss the good old days LOL.
We have to get back to what we did before the summer.
When I log on to the server I feel like doing a couple of warm up rounds.
Then I'm up for some real gameplay!!!!!!
And I think its smart to let the rct's have a chense to be el and do the planning.
Officer input...
What..we arent planning missions anymore?
What kind of a message is this sending out to the visitors, and also how do you guys propose to improve your own skills?
Get to it

Thats true Wiz, we have been a bit slack there. But we are on our route back. I think Spideys challenge turned the direction back on planning.
On my acount, I can say that some of the motivation got lower due to some troublemakers on the server and no admin to help.
I know this isn't a good enough reason, and I'll get my act together.
well uhm regular players know how it goes at the server so
Hey lads

Hey, sounds good. If there is an element - I'm in, u can count on me. But its not the EL-job I prefer, its the point!
