Today we have elevated to 33rd overall and we have been the most played tactical server for the past several months. Thirty-third is a tie for our best ranking in seven months. Thanks to all the realistic tactical coop players who know we host the best rounds with the least amount of pre-round stalling. Get our teams, leaders, AOs, formation, and gear swiftly, correctly, and we move out. Our round times are also the shortest, so we play more missions per hour. We understand it's more fun to play than to watch a 20 minute snooze-fest with teenager tactics. We Dare; Therefore We Win
A great result so far and the ranking graph is pointing upwards
Being #1 in tactical coop can't be topped - now we only need to hold our pole position. That will be no problem at all, because the success we already have proves us right.
I don't think we can achieve rank 20 of ALL SWAT servers out there due to the popularity of adversial, but rank 30 should be possible in the next 2-3 months.
Thanks to all our guests and friends, who support our vision of realistic tactical cooperative gameplay
Well, DUKE, as of today we have reached 28th overall! We are still #1 in tactical co-op servers. Our consistency has been outstanding. Over the past 30 days we have ranked anywhere from 28th through 41st.
In fact, the only cooperative mode server higher than us is Frosty's TSS Hell (ranked 15th). People do all kinds of strange stuff on that server to avoid having to kill a tango. Lots of grenade launchers and less lethal shotguns, CS gas and mask use, and heavy body armor. People enjoy playing there because it gives you INDIVIDUAL POINTS for making the most arrests. People play there for PERSONAL glory and not to be part of a TEAM. It's essentially a paintball match against AI. It will always be very popular because most people are out for themselves and always will be.
Our--vastly smaller--community needs to play a lot of SWAT 4 in order to be ranked where we are amongst all the barricaded suspect servers with 12, 16, 24 slots per server. We are a smaller, but dedicated group.
I also want to recognize those other teams out there doing battle against the mindless barricaded suspect masses.
Other notable servers in teamplay cooperative are:
Rank--Server Name
44th ETS Tactical Gaming PRO
52nd AST Tactical Server
71st Sog-team.com Pro
75th MYT Co-op Svr
76th UTF Pro Tactical Server
127th S.A.D Tactical Server
155th STF Special Task Force
184th ESF Tactical Server
I just checked stats, and it says SAS EVR is 14th. Am I wrongseeing maybe?
Either way. Being in top 30 among servers that have large amount of players, lots of ramboing in barricaded suspects, playing only co-op on only 2 servers and aiming for the quality is not only showing that Swat 4 has exceptional audience but that SAS EVR and other among-the-top co-op-only teams achieved BIG success.
So in that fashion, I congratulate you all
I also have a question, do you really care about the ranking? I know I don't, and just look for the best-of-the-best gaming experience available, which is no doubt achieved within SAS EVR and alike
A TOP ranking is nice to have. It's for sure not mandatory for keeping loyal and true to our believe and vision, but the success proves us right, which is clearly shown by that ranking.
Furthermore it's a very good indicator, telling us the server is most frequently visited and we do our clanbusiness right.
It also shows, that there are many coop-minded people out there, who are very keen on realism and our used tactics - based on experiences of our real world soldiers.
Our temporary server is not being tracked at all other than for current occupants and server ranking.
I have not gone through the trouble of claiming the server. I think it requires that someone shut down the server, rename it to Game Tracker Server, restart it, claim it, stop it, rename it to what we want it to be, restart it.
At that point other stats begin to be tracked.
All the data for our regular server has expired since it has been down for more than a month.

Out of interest, is this data available on the gametracker pages? I'd be interested in knowing the average round time on any of the SAS servers.
