reboot your computer
kill all non windows processes possible, my system tray was clear save for my volume setting icon, total proc was 26.
install SWAT4
// Start log
Run game, tested training mission, hit excape, abort, quit, 'yes' to quit to
windows. Note: That the game took a VERY long time to start up as it did it's
first run chores. Very long for a 3.0Ghz/2GB system.
insert SWAT4:TSS Disk 1
Install patch
Launch SWAT4 (the origenal game), test training mission, hit escape, abort, quit, 'yes' to quit to
windows.
install SWAT4:TSS
launch SWAT4:TSS
Thats what I did and it seems to be working fine.
Now I just have to fix ravenshield....
The way i read it... this is just a guide to uninstalling a game.
wait...so you are asking to erase all evidence of the game from computer and folders and then re-installing the game to fix that error?
You can uninstall the game and remove every thing but the trick is
You must allow things to initiailize properly, e.g. if you install S4, S4 Patch, TSS, and then run TSS you're more likely to break some thing.
It's probably possible to fix it without reinstalling any thing -> But it would take longer to dig into the SDK and learn about what the games do when the are run the first time.
This is the main problem why i have not been able to play swat for more then 1 month.
