...do I have to be a legit SAS rct or member to be able to post a custom pic that abides by picture type and size bcz I did alll that n still comes up as a little X majiggar :?

FYI all avatars should be no more than 100x100 pixels and less than 64kb.
Also what format is the picture in?

He is right it doesnt work, I have tried with JPG and GIF but nothing works.

Ya i abided by all format size rules, and used PNG if that helps....

ok ive checked all obvious reasons why.
The paths are correct and user avatar uploading is allowed.
2 things to try:
1/ try saving your avatar as a .gif
2/ upload your avatar to Imageshack
then select..upload remote avatar and copy the url
