Do you know these days, when you try to have some nice games and then 1, or 2 guys drop on the server and just ruin your evening?
God, I'm not the kind of a troublemaker, but there is really nothing you can do if someone keeps invading your AoR, or bringing the wrong tacaids cuz he thinks they're best, or does not stop using the green chat (I call it All-chat)...
That really sickens me...
And all I can do is keep asking (in a more or less polite way) "if he would be so kind, just to/just not to..."
But there is absolutely no response (or even worse:) smart answers.
I know you SAS-Guys don't know about those problems anymore, but maybe you can recall it from your "before-SAS-Memories"
Those Days just make me wanna quit the SWAT-gaming...

Im not sure of your motives for this post, please elaborate for us

Oh, yeah. I posted in the wrong forum... I think it belongs into the Chit-chat area
And it is just to release some anger and to get other poster's opinions about "those days"

I know perfectly well what you're saying, and I'll take it as a compliment.
we do know what its like..especially when we get 50 xfire msgs a day asking if we can remote ban ppl.
Cant stop public players from playing in a public server,i guess.
However, if you were to impress some of our NCO's you might be given the pw to the locked, private server that we host.
Food for thought.

I liked that answer as its very true it means:
'Its not what you know its who you know'........
Until you get into the selection course that is.............
Then its the other way round

Truth is, Semper, I joined because I saw you on the server, but when I arrived, it was just in the moment when they start asking where you went...
You mean the Training Ground? But its empty most of the time.
And to be honest, I enjoy having some games in public, and every now and then a skilled person arrives and you can feel the niveau in game play increasing instantly. And you get asked if you please could switch with "Name changed by the editorial office" just for the cause that the "skilled one" can have you in his team (since he dropped into red, and you were originally in the blue team)
And you both impress the audience by clearing the map unwounded, whilst everbody else fell prey...
That's the Spirit - God, I love SWAT

Oh, ok I think I catch your drift, now. (Maybe that's why I was asked what my motives for this post were)
To enlight the situation:
I didn't mean to be uncourteous at all. Nor did I intend to asperse anyone on the server. I just wanted to give the anger some room, plus maybe hear (actually "read") about opinions/memories from others about those Situations.
(Was I being unfriendly?)
Venom is the King
I dont think you've been unfriendly at all mate and i understand where your coming from because ive been in that situation plenty of times, i just tend to ignore it and work with what i got just ignore the immaturity it will show that your better in the end!!

You will get from time to time people who like to be immature in our servers. There is a procedure in place to deal with this.
I would advise that you get Xfire if you have not got it already and add the members onto your friends list. If you have a problem inform a member (PG 1- Cpl and above; PG 3- Trp and above), then the member will observe and deal with the problem at his pleasure.
Hot tip for all those players who encounter this problem.
DO NOT PLAY INTO THEIR HANDS (i.e. Back chat, swearing on the server, or try to vote kick them out)
This may result in you being kicked aswell.
And Finally...........
Our servers are fun so have lots of it ! after all it is a game !

Katana, it is very simple:
When you have a problem player call in an [SAS] Cdt/Trp or above and we will deal with the problem. Don't let them ruin your gaming experience, if they interfere with order in the server or if you're EL and they won't listen etc, call us in and there won't be a problem for much longer....
Also, see the posts made by my fellow SAS'ers.

Truth is: I'm actually kind of short on Admins in my Xfire List (haha)
Im not that long into the game, though
And actually, I only got 3 contacts so far...
But... The time will come

You've even said it yourself Katana that the SAS are always watching so you dont need to worry just continue to ignore the things that get to you like you did tonight! Good games none the less
