With the NFL playoffs in full-swing. I think a great stand-by recipe of 4 parts velveeta and 1 part of your favorite salsa tossed into the microwave until the cheese melts is great with tortilla chips and is a real crowd favorite around here.

I know this isn't a real recipe, per se, but it's seasonally correct for the US.

yHere is a good one too, EYE OF ROUND BEEF JERKY
Yall ought to try it sometime.

Take a Eye of Round and put it in the frezzer for a hour to stiffen it up a bit, Slice it up on a slicer (a metal one with SS blade so slices are even) cuttin it as thin as ya can With the grain(very important).

Have a Stainless Steel bucket to put it in, Take several bottles of your favorite marinade(Hickory-Teriyaki-Liquid smoke-Maple syrup-dry rub BBQ seasonin-Hot & Spicey BBQ sauce-dash of Worstershire sauce) at room temp and put in bucket.

As ya slice the meat, take each slice and spread it out in the bucket, make sure that marinade is on both sides of the meat.
Put all this in the fridge over night.

Next mornin put the slices on a dehydrator spreadin out each slice so they dont overlap.

Depending on temp range of machine(dehydrator) you will rotate trays after bout 2 to 3 hours.

With a machine that reaches about 145 degrees your meat will be done in a bout 4 to 6 hours, It is done when you see a faint grayish or whiteish look.

Once you start eatin it ya wont stop till it is Gone!!!

- take pasta of your choice (no need to get detailed here)

- after garlic and onion are sweated, deglaze it with the cream, then ad the liquid of the orange (for a more dominant orange-taste, just ad some pulp)

- cut down the salmon in pieces

- short before the pasta is done (about 2 minutes), ad the salmon to the sauce, adjust with black pepper, be careful with salt (due to salmon is pretty salty)

- pour the orange-salmon-sauce on the pasta - ENJOY Exclaim

I could add a recipe to make a tasty beerpunch lol:

3L redwine
1L orange juice (100%)
about 300ml rum (not the cheap stuff)
squash 3 or 4 lemons
lill bit sugar

-> fill this in your glas (1/3) and the rest with beer.

A lager/light beer should work.
Be warned dont drink to fast.
