Can my computer run the game???? Good tool

Want to buy a new game? But you don't know if your computer has the requirements that is needed?

I found this free tool on the web that checks it for you:

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

The result? I need a new computer :x :x :x

Nice find, medic Exclaim Lol

But I am sure as well that I'll need an hardware-update soon, especially for the following games:

- Far Cry 2
- Stronglehold
- Ground Branch

Btw - my SWAT runs fine Wink :

A friend of mine showed me it once, useful but it's better to just read the manufacturers data.

ROFL My GF6200 is one mark above min and the only thing not maxed out on a test for S4:TSS -> They know it's a crappy card !!! But they recommend a GF4 =/

If you have a 256MB card made some time this lustrum you'll probably be able to run any game with a gig of ram and a P4/D or better -> If you need the best gfx card go steal Wiz's girl. But watch out for the claymores !

Nice find Medic, but usually I just read the system requirments off of amazon or something. Wink it's a nice tool to use, but I wouldn't rely too heavily on it.

I asked if my computer could run BF2 and it said that my video card was out of date so I couldn't run it, despite having an older video card the game runs beautifully, so the minimum requirement should have been the recommended.

Hehe, hardware is ready for Crysis but I don't want to use Vista Sad
Unfortunately I couldn't test for Operation Flashpoint 2.

If I had to use Vista it would be the Ultamate version and I'd buy a 3rd gig of RAM and a Geforce 6800 or 7800 (I have a 6200) -> So it would be as fast as XP when playing SWAT4 and running my many programs hehe.

You could say that....

Desktop:

TeamSpeak

X-Fire

ClamWin (Anti-Virus)

BigFix (from my vendor)

My Firewall

Creative Labs Sound dohicky.

Rocket Dock is mounted on my desktop 24/7

Firefox with 1-2 windows and 3-10 tabs depending on what I'm doing.

An instance of Realplayer or WMP running either externally or as a plugin in Firefox

And I often have RvS or S4 running

Laptop:

KWin (KDE Window Manager)

Konsole, 1-3 tabs (it's a terminal emulator) with zsh running in each, including at least one instance of vim loaded and usually one shell devoted to running an interpretor/compiler and debugger and another to testing and checking documentation since I usually don't use vim for that.

Konqueror or Firefox with several tabs,

Amarok or MPlayer (my favorite media players)

Konversation with 5-6 channels open (IRC Client)

Kopete logged into AIM, MSN, ICQ, YIM, and G/LJTalk

and that's just stuff that is left 'running' while I'm bootedlol.
