If you guys want, there is a thread there for competitve co-op tournaments. The way the site works is that the developers are active in the forums, as well as the member of the website, so the members of the website can say what they would like to see in the game, while the developers read that, and decide between themselves if they want to implement that into it. Anyways, just hoping that this co-op tournament competition thing will be a feature in GB. Maybe they will see that this is a really important part of a co-op game if enough people support it, so you can post if you would like to this feature in GB.
A couple of months ago, I chatted online with one of the people involved in this project after we had played for a bit. He was enthusiastic about the project and it's progress and return to things that are missed.
Still, one has to admit there have been some improvements to the game system such as auto-downloading of maps, the console and new movement capabilities as well as downsides like crappy, repetative V commands at the cost of some useful ones and ridiculously slow equipment handling/changing. If I drew my pistol that slow I'd be dead and I'm not a highly trained SpecOp. I could reload a wheel-gun in two seconds with a speed loader so why am I made slower with an automatic? They underestimate a professional shooter's capabilities and we are supposed to be the best of the best of the best in RvS. Not that I'm about to give up RavenShield.
this looks AWOSME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i so wanna get my hnads on this game after it comes out
nice find get spidey in the profuction to make it perfect hehe
and then the introduction of a New Concept "Sky God's- HALO"..
(You can play if you survive the jump??)
and then what...play 1 of 4 MP Maps?
Dont get me wrong, I have also been following this thread a long time and have talked about it with High Hopes. But, this is dissapointing to see that 2 years have gone by and they have 4 Multi-Player maps for 1-8 people... .

keep in mind that this isn't the long awaited Ground Branch, think of it as a teaser...
Okay, I can see....somewhere down the line expansion packs and map-making and skins and maybe another download Website for Custom Maps...but Tease Me More, dont just tickle me with FOUR Maps....hehe
After All, they have been working on this project for over 2 years....
Although the graphics would be a big plus, it's the gameplay I'm more interested in. Take a look at RVS for example, the graphics aren't great, but the gameplay is much better than most tactical shooters out there. If this game becomes a big hit then that would mean that this statement is true..."Don't build a community around a game, build a game around a community". Then maybe the big companies will actually get a clue and give us (the gamers) what we really want in our games.
I'm sorry, but that just is not what the newsletter says. It says at least 4 MP specific maps, as well as some of the maps from the 8 Coop missions.
I'm all for sharing opinions on a subject, critisisms and all. But trashing a game based on twisted information, is something i did not expect to find here.
So are you saying there maybe LESS then 4 Maps?, it says "At Least"...
Anyway Relish... I was Not Trashing the Game, but making an Obvious Observation.
Can you name me ONE Multi-Player Game that has been introduced in the last 4 Years with "At Least 4 MP Maps"????
I think they have the right Idea, you build a game around a Community, and like everyone else has suggested, with Custom Map building and Modding and Patches anything can happen...and I agree.
They did their best to get the game produced in the traditional manner though gaining the support of a publisher, given that has failed the project is being scaled down and put on the slow burner.
Hopefully a great game will be released eventually, unfortunately it is likely to take some time.

This looks like it has potential. Hopefully the graphics will also be improved by the time it is released to compliment the (hopefully) good gameplay

Spawn, I hate correcting an american lol, but "at least" equals "minimum".
Any more News From any one on Updates about this "Blackfoot Studios-Secret Project?"
I can say this much: The project is under close scrutiny.
SAS_CPT_Rouge
wow...as far as i can see this. it will be an outstanding game. OUTSTANDING.
If it gets released. Well there are some updates on the homepage plus the community is active.
Have you read in the forums the user wishlist? Man this is going to be killer. hehe
it has to be an official sas game if it comes out.
Latest news on this project is a little disappointing.
Read more on the company blog here.

What i always feared. Lets hope they can get back on their feet.
Unlikely unless they finance it off the profits of Halo 4 or the next Counter Strike.
Been keeping an eye on this "Project" for two years now...by the time this gets off the ground, the game will be out-dated...
