I heard the rehearsal was much better than the actual performance. I thought I would like them, but they didn't have enough power behind them and the music was too soft (at least listening from home).
As far as the National Anthem goes, that's what you should expect from a Blonde Hispanic. I tell ya...it won't be long before we start hearing it sung in English AND Spanish for every event. Then it's all a big downhill spiral from there.
Fergi appologized somewhat, said she was very 'pitchy', and the accostics where very weird in the Field. I thought, for the Show itself, Very Well Done. And Random...DEAD ON with Christina...
I laughed for minutes, my girlfriend couldnt figure out why, as I screamed at the Flat Screen.
Oh My GOD Girl...mess up the words, lost what octive she was in and Mumbled her way to the High Notes...whatever, or que'
In terms of a stage production, I thought it was very well done. I think credit goes to the lighting controller on the night, all those LEDs and pyros were hard to sequence and detonate, remembering that each dancer had a wireless link to the lighting rig..far too easy to go wrong.
I do think that Will I Am (bill) cannot rap for toffee; and i also think that if it were not for bigger names like Slash and Usher supporting them, they wouldve bombed. It was entertaining, and an amazing feat of choreography between the dancers and the lighting techs. However, I dont think they were quite the right booking for the superbowl.
So, who is going to support me in a Facebook campaign to book ACDC for next year?

Roffllll...
As for the production...if I recall correctly, part of the lights in the V in the "LOVE" sign in "Where Is the Love" was broken? Might of been intentional but not sure why you'd want to do that?
It's inevitable that you're poorer live than in studio, but I feel that the BEP were especially bad. Only decent part was Usher...Fergie absolutely RUINED Sweet Child O Mine.
Other than the 2 weeks of waiting...the halftime show is the only bad part of the Super Bowl every year. Seriously, the performances suck every year...
