Hello All..I finally bought BF2 Deluxe Edition...could use some tips on getting started..I'm downloading the 1.41 patch for starts..hope to find some team based gameplay..thanks

My tip would be to stick with one class in the beginning. Medic's good, because you can get some points by reviving your teammates, and assault is an overall good one.
Install BF2, install BF2:SF, install EF/AF w/e exp packs if included then monster sized patch(s), odds are.
Takes a little while to get used to the game, but once you are getting head shots at 200m with the iron sights should be easy enough (AR/Carbines/Sniper). If using the SVD, double tap.

If you really want to rank up fast, go to a city map(Karkand, Mashtuur, or Sharqi) and be a medic/Spec Ops.
Also if you are USMC, i prefer the M24 to the M95. I only use the M95 if im Mec.
If you want to play BF2, my xfire is sdsniper.
