AAO is free. I play it some times, as does Rasa and possibly Mando. If I can get a squad I play if not I stop. The current version of AAO is alright. Allot better then the 2.0-2.2 family (boring).

I don't play it so much any more though. Since they dropped Mac/Linux clients to continue Windows Client/Server and Linux Server. I've been very upset with them.
When Linux gamers get ****ed yet keep game servers I'm not happy - as I all ready have to play it under an ABI Layer if I want to play on my BSD Box. Now I'm stuck with 2.5.2 inless I use my WinXP system.
Linux and BSD are helping them support the game, but they are giving Linux, BSD, and Mac users the royal screw.
Yes I'm mad at the us army and related AAO people.
im starting to play it more its got some good graphics but im still alittle confused to why i cant use and spr????

I play AA:O from time to time, and I think he means the Special Purpose Rifle that SF Snipers are given. You have to have completed SF Training and be at least a 15 honor player to play on an official SF Server. Then when you pick your team position, you must select the 18-B "Bravo". He is the A-Team Sniper.
You would also need to pass Sniper Training which means acing your M16 Trial.
thanks merge i figured that out once i reahed honor 15 i liek it very accurate but doesnt deliver alot of damage compared to the m24

Man AAO is fun if you play it right. I just got 2200+ points tonite. Some CQB work /w my M16. (Fav) Lead a squad in heavy fighting on the bridge and we kicked booty. They actually did what I told them lol. Snipered them a bit too.
Some one asked me if I was in the military /w the way I was running the show. I said no, I'm in the SAS and thats the next best thing!

Yeah maybe I am a sniper, lol ... though I got still problems with the running and sliding tangos within a range of 100-300 meter (difficult to estimate the distance in Rvs) ... but I'll trying to fix that ...
