Is this it?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121424

If it is, a few reviewers said that it was either dead on arrival or broke shortly thereafter. That could be the issue.

Also, that card is PCI Express 2.0. If this is your motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131249
it only says PCI Express, which gives me the impression it is 1.0, meaning they aren't compatible, i.e. your motherboard is too old.

I would lean towards a Mobo issue too, you can test various things. Take the gfx card out and try to run it on onboard gfx, if it works fine, then its an issue somewhere with the card, possibly what Farshot said. Also test your ram, take the sticks out and try them 1 at a time in each others slots.
as its a new psu its unlikely to be that, but it could be.

as i say, most probably the Mobo.

I feel your pain Sniper, as my laptop video card just went out too....
I am taking it to a computer repair shop tomorrow for a new one and also see if I can afford some more memory for her.. The good news is my new AlienWare laptop should be delivered this week as early as Tuesday...
It is a beast of a laptop. very possible one of the best I could afford.
For $3,000.00 US dollars you would think that, right.... I am still getting the older one repaired as she has been such a good one that I can not just throw her in the garbage... Then I might even play ravenshield on her and swat on the other at the same time...LoL That would be the shit now wouldn't it... Pardon my french there.... I do hope you get yours going again soon as we miss you in the servers.

I heard the ASUS M2N-MX-SE PLUS Motherboard is kind of odd. Problems with several things. I say thats the problem.
What happs when you turn on your system? Black Screen? All fans running? What kind of ram you use (DDR2/3)?
