Upcoming game titles worth mentioning.

It's 2012, a year of great games it seems. E3 kicked off and there are plenty of games gamers around the globe can choose from, one may say too many good titles.

Here are few that I think will be the 2012's best:

ArmA 3. Undoubtedly, best war sim to date just got better, check this E3 video for lots of gameplay details. Best part of ArmA 3 IMHO is improved visual and animations (stances).

Medal of Honor Warfighter. MOH Anaconda (2010) was great, sadly too short. What MOH Anaconda lacked MOH Warfighter will give back x2. The game is great both in visual and audio as well as in gameplay, and there's something promising for tactical players like us that I spotted in the video bellow - Door breaching and tactical entry. I don't know will this be a MP feature, but if it does and if there are more alike it, it will be awesome.

Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012. Most of us played the original NFSMW and IMHO it's the best in NFS series after UG2, that with some modifications gets even better. The 2012 looks very promising and actually retains the original NFSMW's feel, it may be just what many NFS fans were waiting for many years.

Tomb Raider 2012. The already sexy and dangerous Lara Croft just got sexier and more dangerous, and in more trouble too. Lots of interactive gameplay and new environments look promising.

War Machines Hawken. I remember playing something like this long long ago, just can't remember the game title. This game looks nice, adds new type of gameplay and devs say it will be free to play.

Those are just few of the games I've been watching for a while. Make sure you check their dev's websites for more info. Have a title worth mentioning? Post it Biggrin

NFS MW, was and still is the best game of the Need for Speed series.

It's not always about the graphics, also the story line and for MW it was outstanding !

titles

There are many games to choose these days. However IMHO the old franchises we all know will win big time.

I personally wait for ArmA 3 as well as newer DCS releases (hopefully Su27 Flanker B will be one someday) Games like GTA are iconic, GTA SA remains as one of my favorites as I had hours upon hours of fun and the best moments in life were happening the same time when I used to play the game so now when I see a video of it's gameplay I get a strong nostalgia kick.

Hitman is great as well, Max Payne 3 looks really good, I wanna try it, also MOH 2012, MOH 2010 was amazing, so underrated game but amazing, I recommend it. And the new NFSMW stays loyal to the old NFSMW one, actually there is a great mod for old one, if you have old NFSMW get this and it will turn your game into a 2010's like game (graphics wise) http://www.nfscars.net/forum/showthread.php?t=34796

The one game title I wish will come in future is A.I.M 3 I doubt anyone even knows about the series, but It's still my favorite game because of the awesome story and 80% of secrets (with only 20% of actual gameplay campaign revealing things)

I love the original NFS MostWanted and think it is by far the best one in the entire series Exclaim About the new MostWanted I really have doubts according the user comments I read in a german game forum: most of the feedback over 5-6 pages there (more than 90 Wacko is pretty negative about the new NFS MW to come.

The general conclusion was that this game would have been better called "BURNOUT Most Wanted". That being said, the title is kind of confusing and is in terms of promotion surely aiming for the fans of original NFS MW.

I dislike the concept of:
----------------------------
- not the glimpse of a storyline (I don't need a big story in an arcade racer, but none at all, well, if you call a game the same name, then the fans don't expect less than the original.)

- nearly all cars are accessable right from the start (where's the challenge there in unlocking better and better cars in time?)

- an automated tire-refill after the tires are slashed by spike-stripes (this makes just no sense! That's kidsclub! In original MW you had to evade spike-stripes - else game over.)

For further reference: --> http://www.computerandvideogames.com/369118/previews/need-for-speed-most-wanted-preview-a-racer-thats-lost-the-plot/

"The thing is, Need For Speed: Most Wanted is pretty exciting in its own right. Hell, it's damn good--so long as you're not looking for a proper reboot to the original 2005 release. Gone is the narrative, replaced with--well--nothing. But there are missions, and lots of them. The open-world city of Fairhaven is beautifully detailed, if not that large, and populated with heaps of different races for you to compete in. And they all have one thing in common: Burnout.

Most Wanted is far more weighted towards the Burnout series than it is Need For Speed. There are gloriously destructive slow-motion takedowns, and green mission markers, and the freedom to take whichever route you want to complete a mission--so long as you don't miss a checkpoint. Missions include speed runs, first-past-the-post races, and eliminators, but none of the more exciting stunt and takedown missions from Burnout--at least not that I saw in the time I had with the single-player."

Take a special look at the user comments here. Now you see why I have doubts about this game resulting in not going to buy it Exclaim

Totally agree with you, Duke.

It looks that with standard NFS MW, they reached perfection ( for that time ) and they are trying to get it even better, well, they are failing all the time to do that.

To be honest, there's nothing that could be improved in old NFS MW. However, I have some ideas:

New cars ( the old ones still stays ),
More ways to improve ( tune ) your car,
Little bit improve the cops AI,
Maybe increase the map ?

That's it, nothing should be changed in story mode, the story was outstanding in MW !

Update to the new NFS Most Wanted:

I've read some days ago, that you can't drive with max-speed right from the start because the speed is limited untill you progress further in the game... 8O Diablo B: B:F

Lol what? 8O

What did they do to NFS series Sad

Hope some angry fans strike right at EA for this.

Anyway, check Bioshock Infinite. It's the 1st game where game cinematics meet movie industry!
