Hey,
I simply decided to bring back my third hobby on PC - RVS mapping.
4 years back it was unfinished "Sight of Kite".
It is huge map based on realism and surrounding ambience. like maded not for RVS. This map far from being finished, but it has ground, sea, bridge, terrain, and one huge building ALREADY.
I tryed hard to make it out of RVS mappers conceptions. It is not primitive.
I put lotta tactics in it too. I suppose when the time come it could be really fun map to play any possible mode.
My UnrealED knowledges almost forgotten - but not the modelling. Thats OK I have tutorials that easy to recall.
Problem is; to finish Sight of Kite I need single Lead assistant... my motivation cannot be bought other way.
So, if SAS clan suppose to had that Section, than I think....
Note1: My maps are kinda really really huge in size...but i thought it cannot be a problem since I have personal place to put that files.

On the way. I have another semi-finished map (my first one). But in this case, this map are 89% done. And you can play it Adver and Tango hunt.
Totally I made only 2 maps, these "Iland of Angels" and "Sight of Kite"

Finally you should know that my English is worst than even me imagine it.

If your map is large in filesize, i advise 2 things.
1/ add plenty of zones.. It helps with glitching and speed of the map.
2/ compress your textures and meshes as much as is possible.

Since i posted SightofKite here, ive done some changes. Mostly minimalistical because i am still a little scary to hold the Brush after such period of time. // I fixed Sun and Ambience lite. I created another second terrain (untouched).
Lotta ideas I got for now...lotta new ideas.

Maven, no matter seems you SWAT4 player, I'll give more details about "Sight of Kite" right now.
"Sight of Kite" is actually had Bulgaria, Nessebar's base (Back in 1995). That is it. / This map has 2 the old an a new cities separated by the Bridge. That is what I have done already in UnrealEDitor.
The old city, it has an well-known Holtel located near the Black Sea.
If to google it - it is not what i trying to get laying to my memorie instead. This is huge map, and its landscape is natural. With this conception the Rainbow Six gameplay could be called an Ghost Recon's one.
Short flight of stairs leading you to get the squad from top to the sea level. In this case you wont be killed by any sniper located beyond the rock. It is not single action map. It has lotta main areas - so it Can support all RVS modes. For example: Terrorist Hunt suppose to assault the Hotel. The Adversarial suppose lead Green & Red teams to eachother by crossing bridge that separating old & new cities. etc.eg.

I know GR has a 800m X 800m map limititation...
What is the size of the map, i didnt know RV supported map that huge.

Amazing job man I like the whole map this is a huge map and if you could separate parts of the map you would have like 5 maps instead of 1 so think about it =d but keep the good work and good luck.

I tell you why this map is so huge:
Pls imagine some part of interest to the 2 variations of this map. The day & night. Possible number of missions on each one is about ...6 for example = 12 missions total (3+3 coop, 3+3 adver)
So in stock RVS maps anyone genericly completing the same map with different missions. In Sight of Kite you completing different places with different missions. -- Is just that simple

I just finished play with you in Rvs, and then I (surprise) found you there. Its cool. I like that you modder even more! I know it is somewhat relative to all, but if you will decide greatly to bring stuff to it...it is WOw like to me. (to SAS).
