I totally agree.

Do you like RavenShield, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon and even the freedom in BF2 ???

JS was the key man in making that happen.

Then im sure you will like this game.

project

I've seen posts around the Internet about this project before. There are few such projects actually. They are all great, this one seems to have all the juciest parts from best tactical shooters (also notice the arma 2-like camera shake) and if it ever comes out will be something special.

The bad news? 450k in donations necessary until Jul, and only 16k donated so far. Sigh, sounds like it's going to fail and get buried down just all the great tactical shooter titles got by the big companies Sad

This is amazing! But i also worry about the donations and funding the game. They have already worked on it so much, it would be bad ,if not even stupid to give up this project. They have put in alot in this. It saddens me that there is no sponsors, who believe in this kind of game genre.
PS! Maven dont give up hope, last time i checked it was 19k Wink

The thing is, the total is set at what they need to finish the project. Any donations, no matter how small will enable the project to continue towards that goal.
So dont give up hope by what seems to be an amount that is nowhere near the target amount.
If i had 450k spare (i wish ! ) I would fund this project entirely.

This project has been going on for years, as has the fund raising. All that has been done recently is the distribution of an email which represents the most recent efforts to fund the project.

The bottom line is if you think the project will ever actually get completed, then there is no reason not to donate. If you think it will never materialize, then hold onto your cash instead of throwing it into the event horizon of a black hole.

project

Seems like donations rapidly rising, 21k now. Some good news indeed. The project may just get realized Smile

Anyone knows will the final product be for free or sold per copy?

Re: project

I imagine it won't be free seeing as they will be offering copies to those who donate to the project, if it's going to be free then that would only be even more incentive for people to not donate.

Hi, I really hope they fund it.

I think it is important to clarify that your pledge only gets taken if they reach the target amount needed to develop the game.

They are up to about 60k.

Still a long way from the target.

What they really need is some major publicity.

Agreed regarding the need of support for Blackfoot Studios' Ground Branch.

I really hope that they can continue development and extend the due date for pledges.
