Hi everyone. I have recently returned from a long absence from Ravenshield, and am very glad to have found an RVS server (the Proving Grounds 2 to be more precise) that actually plays the game the way it was intended--smart, realistic, and teamwork-centered.
After many years of being disappointed with the direction of the recent "Tom Clancy" franchise [Vegas, Vegas2, etc. etc.], I recently bought a new copy of RVS to hopefully remember the past (I lost my old game years ago).
Although I understandably average approximately 200+ ping at most if not all times on your server (Player from the United States), I must say that playing with you and other pubbers has been an absolutely amazing experience.
I appreciate how you guys stick to the tactical gameplay that this game was designed for. Other servers that are closer to my area have horrid mods that ruin what the game originally was intended for. Watching other players run around with 200-round sniper rifles or shotguns is just plain ridiculous.

As for the ping, no worries there we have a number of members from the Americas, I get ugly pings too being on the West Coast.

I agree with ya on this rvs multiplayer is nothing without tactical server(s).
Myself got vegas 2 and I play much more on RVS.
Well you sound interesting and I hope I will catch ya on the servers (I play mostly on Raven Shield, will install Swat 4 soon) so we can play some fun tactical games togatha.

I hope that the PG2 servers come back to life again--I've come to really love the planning aspect of multiplayer mission coop. I remember that one (MP) Presidio mission map in which we burned through 100 rounds before a player by the name of "bb" clutched the final wave of T's guarding the last hostie point.
You're the only server that not only provides mission coop but also have original R6 game variables (from what I've seen and experienced).

We like to keep our public servers 'mod free' to allow for maximum access. Our private servers, however have some selected mods to make gameplay even more fun.

I was thrilled to log in today and see that the SAS Proving Grounds #2 is back up and functional. Playing the London map with Elite and other pubbers was amazingly fun.
