Swat crosshair

Found this on another forum...

To do it, you have to open up Swat Ed. Click on the textures browser and open the file called "HUD.utx". Look in there for references to the crosshair pieces (there should be 5: Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Middle). The pieces should be little blue squares. to change the color, you will need to export those textures, open them in a paint program (you will probably need a plugin to do so, also to save them again when you are finished changing the color), change the color, save the files, import them back into the "HUD.utx" texture file, save that file, and you should be done.

So if anyone is gonna try that, be sure to make a backup of the file first, because even if it works it could end up barring you from entering online servers because your files have been altered.

You should be able to skip that error with these steps:

- Launch SWAT4 to main menu with modified files
- When you get into main menu, alt-tab back to desktop
- Replace the modified files with the original ones.
- Alt-tab back to game and join to server

This works atleast for .ini files but .utx files should deal with it too.

And I will see if I can do something about making some custom crosshairs without the file mismatch errors or silly methods on each Swat 4 launch.
