SWAT 4 PG Status

Organized crime.

Server is back since a few days!

I took it down for maybe 5 minutes earlier, so that i could make a scheduled backup of the files, it should be fine now though

Last time I was in there (~1 hour ago), it was extra laggy from the work likely being done, but other wise stable.

Well, that and SWAT 4 servers just like to naturally kick me every now and than, always have, always will lol xD

As of today, SAS has purchased a 10 slot SWAT4:TSS server. It is being configured today and should be up by 3 Aug 2010.

The server is based out of London, since the majority of the regular SWAT players are on that side of the Pond.

That's right, WIZ. If the SWAT community enjoys not having to use mobile spice dispensers, like SEK_Ninja said. Then join our server and fight for our cause.

We are still going strong with this server. As of today, we enjoy our highest ranking in 60 days (46th) and we are the most played tactical co-op server in SWAT 4:TSS. The current top 5 are: SAS, UTF, ETS, RAU, and SoG. AST is 6th with a ranking of 84th.

Just to give everyone an update--we have been running this server from the same IP since August 2010. It is currently 50th most played and the highest ranked team play server in all of SWAT 4:TSS. Our 30 day ranking has been very steady--ranging from 46th to 53rd. Other top coop teamplay servers are: AST, DoA, CoB, SoG, MyT, and ETS. ETS has recently changed IPs and has moved quickly up to 87th overall. They will be in the top 5 again by the end of the week.

good to see, finding time to actually play on the shiny new server is a different box of chocolates though

Yea, AST is closing up and heading to the top, even with mandatory mumble I'll advise our members to stop playing at SAS server, so we can pass you easier xD

Ok serious, you guys are doing a really good job with your server. Always very nice, tactical games when SAS members are present, and even sometimes without. Your gametracker rank just reflects this.

ps: Feel free to take a look to AST server in case SAS is empty (or complete full). Mumble download and installation takes 5 min max, and mb we switch to TS3 in nearby future.

Subtle advertising there I shall definitely visit your server in future as I like the website looks nice...although I have not had the best experience with Russians in Swat just kidding mate

I had also mostly bad experince with russian players, mainly due to the language barrier. But currently we do not have a single member from Russia. And the server is located in Germany.

Quick update--we just set the 30 day record at 45th. AST also moved into 57th and ETS is ranked 67th and is in 4th place among team play servers.

the AST website says that they have a primary Russian server and secondary British! Interesting how you have no Russian members

Hmm, one of our founders was russian and he hosted the first server. But he left a few months ago.
Our current server is hosted by me and located in germany. Our webmaster has finished his semester at university today and will now work at the website. I'll tell him to correct this texts

No Max, we locked the server with a password only for internal training. Should be up and open again now

This topic is in need of a bump. Besides, I have some great news to share.

Our ranking of 34th is our 2nd highest ranking since the server has been ranked on Gametracker. FYI, our highest ranking ever was 33rd in September 2011. We may be poised to tie or break that record.

Our 30 day range has been 34th - 53rd and we are in the top 10% of all SWAT 4 servers whether they are coop or adversarial modes. Great work team!

Is the server acting up or is it my client? I try to connect to PG4 and every time a blank screen with an 'OK' button appears. Tried the TG and got a 'connection failed' message.

Tried another server and connected fine. :/
