We are not supposed to ask for try outs for your clan but I was really curious to know about whether you assess leadership as well as following commands and, if not, why?

If you've signed up on the site (and/or submitted an application) then we've been watching you, and that means that we're watching you do everything you do, which means leading as well as following.
thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate the quick (albeit slightly creepy) responses...thanks for the help!

I only had games with you one time. More visibility never hurts.

It's only creepy when we're in your shower. You'll get used to that.
Although I should add that doesn't mean you need to know 100% of what full SAS members might display tactically or know everything written in Random's tactics archive thread. That is what the Selection Course (and beyond) is for, to learn more than just the basic nuances.
What is to be expected however, is like Random said, strong visibility on the servers, as well as showing maturity/patience, and being able to execute basic orders well.

i realize that im not on the servers during the week and i cant really help it because of exams etc. I do however commit time on Fridays and Saturdays; I average way more than the five hours you specify

Just be as active as you can and be patient. In due time if the higher ups that be like what they see then you'll get an invite and what not. Joining The Mighty is a long process. Not something that happens over night.
Military life is having a plan. Then a new plan. Then another plan. Then the first plan. Then a brand new plan only to go back to the 2nd plan.
duly noted kind sir
