Just wanted to add a date to the calendar, but it doesn't work...
I got the following error-message: "Some errors were detected with your event; please correct the problems listed below and re-submit.
Invalid category: (0)"

I had the same some time ago and did send a email to webmaster at sasclan dot org
Calendar works perfect (since a long time)
Is it possible to limit the displayed events only for the current month OR current month and following month?
My point of view is: The calender is a feature and here to be used (did not expect that long list)...

Update: Ive modified the code to only show the next 3 events. So go for your lives and add as many events as you like

Calendar replaced by Snow or am I the only one not seeing it anymore

The calendar was turned off in november, due to it throwing massive amounts of errors in the log file. The file grew so big it crashed the site.

Just wanted to say, those snow flakes are awesome. Most websites put small and fast falling snowflakes, these are big, slow and really cool looking

Bumping for interest.
The calendar could be a really helpful tool when it comes to setting up dates for different events, be it general Training Sessions, SAS meetings, or other scheduled events. That way every scheduled event is visible instead of buried within the forums.
If the currently defunct calendar causes too many problems, perhaps we could look for a replacement.
The most important thing: should we ever get another calendar, make sure to USE IT.

Eh? It is? Hmm, I don't see it. :?
Side note: you could also use the event calendar of your xfire community. The old version was pretty good to keep an overview of all upcoming events. Plus members of the community got a notification 15 minutes before an event started if they were online at xfire.
But with the new xfire beta stuff the calendar (besides many other things) is pretty messed up, I hope they'll fix it soon.
