When we did Penthouse HR it was quite apparent that you need to not only be GOOD, to set a record, but you need to be LUCKY. The randomness in tango and hostage placement, responses and movement can cost seconds. In Penthouse the hostages sometimes when straight for the top of the exit stairs and sometimes behaved like the 3 Stooges, costing us seconds. No question that this kind of effort teaches new lessons on how minor tactical/technique changes can give one an edge. We picked up a second just by throwing a bang at the door BEFORE it opened and it went through because the door was open when it got there. Not something you would do in RL but it taught the critical importance of timing.
yeah what a fluke, can't believe we made that.
