I remember showing one of these videos to Hexen quite some time back, his reply was that these drills show what is so awesome and terrifying about the military at the same time. I have to agree. Awesome in the sense of the how synchronised and disciplined everything is, terrifying in the manner of how expressionless and disciplined everything is.
My AFROTC Rifle Drill team was national champions back during the 60's. They got surprisingly good, surprisingly fast. On the other hand you tend to really focus with a bunch of 11 pound rifles flying around in the air.
