Xfire was bought by new owners today. Most of the team that has built Xfire over the last six years is leaving. We enjoyed working for you for the last 127 releases and wish we could stay to create the next 127. Good bye, good luck, and game on. --- The Xfire Team

Hmm They know what Xfire is worth in terms of commercial. Sure there's always the possibility that they'll be trying to turn it into something that needs to be paid for - but if Xfire as it is now wouldnt bring any profit already, then there wouldnt have been anyone to buy it as it is, would there?
I don't think, we as the other end of the line will experience much of the changes that will be due in the next days/weeks
They KNOW they would destroy the xfire community if they messed it up, so I dont't think they'll dare, turn it/end it as we know it.
There is only one Ninja
Xfire like many other freeware on the web are getting their money through publicities they put on their website.

I still wish I never infected SAS with XFire.
Any update here?
