Confused about IP address change

I have seen no posts in CHIT CHAT, CLAN TOPICS, or SELECTION COURSE FORUMS :? and received no email or PM that IP's for servers were changed. When? I know I have been trying to connect for days with no success. Did I miss some important notification somehow? If I had not checked them when I saw the similarly unannounced PG2 (hooray) IP, I would not have know about the changes at all. Am I alone in this? If so, where did I screw up?

Going to try the new IPs now.

Well have no port for TS so cannot connect to that as old port number did not work.

No luck. On RvS servers I assume the issue is with UBI, even with IP attempts. I managed to get PASSWORD INCORRECT from TG1....but of course, the password was correct....so again assume it's UBI.

I'm thrilled that I just bought LOCKDOWN and installed it and have never played and now they tell us there is no online server for it. What UBI doesn't know about customer relations would feed the starving in Haiti if it was grains of rice.

Can anyone help me with the TS issue. Clearly I cannot blame UBI for that.

Re: Confused about IP address change

Yes, you missed the shoutbox message, the current IPs are on the home page and passwords modules, and Ubicom is having a bad hair day resulting in highly intermittent access to logging into the game.

Luckily SAS also has the best SWAT 4 servers on the entire Internet, as well as the best RvS servers, so we can play that while we wait on ubigay hehe

Spidey,

I have no idea how that makes us able to play with UBIsoft down. I can't join the new IP's from the multiplayer screen in-game.

Also, there is no port # for TS 2 & 3.

I thought the shout box messages were for immediate, short term messages, not for permanent changes in the Clan info. I have been reading it this week, however, and never saw that shout.

The port numbers are only specified in the armoury when they are actually needed. For TS it shouldn't be a problem any more.

Info with a longer life time was also put in the Members Forum, like most interesting stuff in SAS :-o. As to whatever should be said that hasn't been said, I'll just say just the technical geek, not the officer with the paper work :-D.

You could also just use the normal, official comms methods and just ask someone
