OK i am using a no CD patch to play raven shield online, but when I click RvS half way thought after the trailer I get this error.

It's a seg fault while drawing a frame.
My CPU is
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ (2 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

Check our armoury, under files and multicore fix...
Rvs doesnt like multi core cpu's
I have a phenom and it was a hell of a job to trick rvs to run on that
I swear, I have never had one iota of trouble over multiple cores out of Raven Shield --- the power of Intel !!!
Well I did try to install it until it got it Status then after 10secs this error showed
"Error 1721 there is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run......Contact your support"

Try starting RavenShield first and join a game, then start xfire. I have a Dualcore (Intel) and no related problems.
