As some of you know, I've recently moved into an apartment near my college campus. We have paid-for internet, but it's shared by 150-200 people, so it's completely useless for gaming (and almost useless for internet surfing too). My roommates and I are currently in the process of getting roadrunner high-speed cable set up, so that should solve the problem. ETA for the cable is 2 weeks.
On another note, I'm slowly downloading SWAT 4 Gold from Direct 2 Drive, and should have it installed by tomorrow morning (I'm excited to finally have it, although I wish I could play online right away).

Hey guys, I know it's been a while and your all probably like, where the heck did Mando go? (or maybe you just don't remember me at all
I'm still around, but my internet connection is still not sorted out. Right as we were about to get Roadrunner, my college campus has decided to switch our internet from our wireless crappy internet to direct Ethernet connections in our rooms (this was like a month ago when they said this), unfortunately it's still being installed (fortunately I did actually see them installing it, so my hopes are up for it being done soon). So anyways, there's my dilemma, hopefully things will start to happen, because at the moment my roommates want to wait it out to see if we get the Ethernet soon, before paying for good internet.

Mando when your done getting the S4 Gold from D2D, look in our members forum for a thread called SWAT ReMix Maps.
Those are adjusted maps for the game and have been installed on our S4 Training Grounds.
I myself would have gotten the Road Runer connection for some great gaming.... just budget correctly... removing the true non essential items.... like eating. 8O

Oh, no worries En4cer, I've got budgeted eating down to a science. Ramen tastes great with hot sauce, FYI... really though, it does. I might should cut back on the liquid expenses though, but that's not really negotiable, how else am I going to make it through college?
Another update! - Captains Log Oct.19.2009: Today, as I walked back from class, I noticed strange piping running along the ceilings and walls, just the right size to be able to house some wiring, COULD IT BE???? My hopes are high!
